CRONOS

Altis operations (2024-2025)

OPERATION RESURREXIMUS

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will eliminate the local extremist group courier and commander. Retrieve two Zamak ammo trucks from the extremist main base and two off-road vehicles from the local civilians. All vehicles are to be delivered to FOB Cuprum.

Situation

October 19th 2024: welcome to Greece, Private Military Company Versus. The reason behind Versus presence on Altis is a contract made with the Takistani militia group Al-Azif. The assignment is simple: PMC Versus is to establish a covert base on the island and use all means imaginable to destabilize the Altian government for the next eight months. To what end, the contract does not say. The commission for this whole operation is 4.2 million euros.

PMC Versus is doing good financially, but smuggling military equipment to Altis has been unsuccessful thus far because of the heavy presence of Altian Armed Forces (AAF) along the coast. PMC Versus high command, however, made a deal with an Altian extremist group, Nekron Chelia. The group saw Versus operators as an aid to their cause for 'freedom in Altis' and promised to supply Versus with weapons and equipment. After negotiating the co-operation details between Versus and Nekron Chelia, Versus local high command on Altis (callsign 'Corona') has evaluated the group's methods unsatisfactory. The extremists are reluctant to use their weapons againts Altian citizens or the AAF forces and haven't delivered the weapons and explosives they promised. Instead, the Nekron Chelia courier has delived Versus operators (callsign 'Perditus') ancient pre-2000 weapons and not nearly enough ammunition.

Corona wants Versus operators to eliminate the whole Nekron Chelia organization structure and assume their identities. This way it will be difficult for the locals to suspect any third party involvement in what is to come. Corona has mobilized an additional Versus team (callsign 'Derelictus') to help Perditus eliminate the weapon courier and the NC commander.

After that, the operators will attack the NC base and steal two ammo trucks which are believed to contain lots of weapons and equipment. Lastly, the operators will steal two off-road vehicles from the local civilians. Corona plans to attach weaponry on the platforms. All vehicles are to be delivered to the newly established FOB Cuprum which serves as a base to Perditus.

Enemy

Although the Nekron Chelia fighters are expecting to work alongside PMC Versus, an armed approach will most likely result in a firefight since Versus is not supposed to make contact with anyone else besides the courier. Corona estimates that the NC have about 20-30 fighters in total, not all of which are present in the AO.

Corona believes that the Nekron Chelia fighters have just received a shipment of weapons from Northern Africa. It is still unclear whether or not they have had time to familiarize themselves with the new weapons but Corona believes that most of the weapons and ammo are still in the trucks they were delivered in.

Intel indicates that the NC has three bases in the region. The main base with the ammo trucks is located here and an auxillary base with the commander here. The location of the third base is still unknown. All Versus personnel in the area have already changed uniforms to blend in with the NC and Corona reminds Perditus and Derelictus to double check their targets before engaging to avoid blue on blue fire.

The AAF military presence is concentrated around the gulf of Pyrgos and is not believed to be a problem. The civilians, however are likely to be armed and will not take lightly on fighters wearing NC uniforms.

OPERATION METAMORPHOSES

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will eliminate the last of the Nekron Chelia fighters at their base, steal an AAF Zamak truck filled with explosives and deliver it north-east.

Situation

October 21st 2024: PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has finally established a satellite link to Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 at FOB Aurum. Corona has located the third and final base of the Nekron Chelia fighters and has tasked two five operator teams to eliminate the extremists. The point team (callsign 'Perditus') has been inserted north of the base and the supporting team (callsign 'Derelictus') south of the base. Corona reminds the teams to not let any of the NC fighters escape as that would jeopardize Versus presence on Altis.

Corona has been monitoring AAF radio communication channels and learned that an AAF combat engineer team's temporary observation point east of the NC base contains plenty of explosives fit for future Versus operations on Altis. The combat engineers are observing the 14 wind turbines on the nearby hills and performing maintenance as needed. Corona has learned that disabling the key turbine west of the observation point will render the others unresponsive. This should be enough to cause the combat engineers leave the vicinity of their base and investigate even though it's night.

Versus operators must deliver the AAF Kamaz truck containing the explosives north-east of the observation point and leave the AO. Corona will provide intel by monitoring the situation via the satellite uplink and AAF radio channels. The Versus operators are equipped with the weapons stolen from the NC earlier this week, enjoy.

Enemy

Corona estimates that the Nekron Chelia fighters at the base are rather poorly armed and disorganized due to the fact that the extremists have no leader and have already lost some 70 percent of their fighters. Versus operators and the NC lack NV capabilities but the sky is clear and visibility good for a night time operation.

The AAF fighters at the observation point however are heavily armed, trained and organized and Derelictus and Perditus are to approach with extreme caution. Corona has also spotted movement near the small airstrip in the south-east. Thermals suggest several vehicles, most likely AAF. The reason for their presence remains unknown.

Perditus and Derelictus are equipped with all the explosives Versus has on Altis and Corona advises the operators to use them wisely and make the acquisition of the Zamak truck priority. Corona has already identified several potential targets all around Altis to help PMC Versus destabilize the Altian government and cause turmoil among the citizens.

OPERATION AFFLAMUS

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will eliminate the distillery foreman, destroy the two large ouzo containers in the north-east corner of the distillery complex and leave the AO.

Situation

November 1st 2024: PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has located the first ideal target to use the recently acquired explosives on. The target is the only ouzo distillery on Altis, owned by the number one local business man, Mr. Simonides Dionysodoros. The owner is not present at the distillery but Corona has been following the routines of the distillery foreman, Mr. Alexis. The foreman arrives at the distillery every morning at 0600 hours, and the Versus point team (callsign 'Perditus') and support team have been inserted in the vicinity.

Corona has tasked the teams to eliminate the foreman and also destroy the two ouzo containers located on the north-east corner of the distillery complex. This loss of the whole year's ouzo patch will surely instill discontent and discord among the local populace as well as the AAF forces. The importance of the distillery has been noted among the AAF, and the AAF forces have tasked a sizeable task force to ensure the safety of the distillery.

Corona advises the the Versus teams to act fast: destroy the containers, find and eliminate the foreman and exfiltrate to north-east before the AAF can fully respond.

Enemy

The distillery is guarded by a squad sized force of trained and fully equipped AAF fighters. Corona advises Perditus and Derelictus to use the darkness to their advantage: even though the teams are not equipped with NV gear, use your flashlights, chemlights and flares. The first light is near and attacking at this hour is the only way to eliminate the foreman without having to worry about the distillery workers and losing the foreman to a crowd of civilians. The AAF are likely to respond in full and the Versus teams should expect AAF reinforcements from the south.

Derelictus has finished equipping the stolen off-roads with .50 caliber HMGs and Corona advises Derelictus to use the vehicles to create a distraction and draw the AAF focus away from Perditus and the distillery.

OPERATION ALCYON

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will neutralize the AA site on Cap Makrinos and destroy the two transport helicopters inbound from the south. After that the teams will return to the insertion point and leave the AO in a civilian truck.

Situation

November 20th 2024: private military company Versus has successfully established the identity of the Nekron Chelia extremist group. The local news have been reporting more hostile activity by the NC and after the raid on the distillery and the loss of AAF personnel lives the local military presence has requested assistance from the Greek government.

PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has intercepted a radio communication stating that the Greek military forces have sent two transport helicopters full of troops to help the AAF battle the NC forces. The helicopters have taken off from the Greek aircraft carrier Lelantos stationed south-east of Altis in the Mediterranean Sea. Corona has tasked two five operator teams - inserted here - to neutralize the helos before they reach the AAC airport.

Since Versus does not possess any kind of AA equipment Corona has located a suitable AAF AA site on Cap Makrinos for the Versus teams to capture and use its weapon systems to take out the helos. To reach Cap Makrinos Corona has rented two small boats which should have already been delivered on the coast.

After both of these objectives are completed the Versus teams will return to the insertion point, change to civilian clothing, leave their weapons and return to FOB Cuprum in a civilian truck.

Enemy

PMC Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 has picked up multiple armed boats patrolling around the entrance to the mouth of Gulf Pyrgos. It seems that the AAF are making sure the Greek transport helos get to the airport safely. Corona estimates that the chances of reaching Cap Makrinos with this much AAF naval activity are less than ideal. For distraction, Corona has spotted several coastal defence points along the shores of the entrance to the Gulf and destroying the closest CDP's tank - which's turret is serving as a coastal defence gun - will most likely draw the AAF naval forces to secure the site and away from the AA site letting Versus forces approach the skerry. The nearest AAF forces on the mainland are located at the nearest CDP. The CDPs are all located north of the AO posing to threat to the operation.

The AAF presence on Cap Makrinos consists of a small infantry team in charge of the AA equipment and skerry Pyrgi is believed to be empty

OPERATION IGNIS GRAECUS

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will eliminate the plantation owner, Mr. Simonides Dionysodoros, believed to be sleeping in his manor on the north-west side of the plantation. Perditus and Derelictus will also find and destroy the wooden containers loaded with fresh olive tree saplings before disappearing north.

Situation

December 8th 2024: by browsing old news articles, PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has learned that the number one business man on Altis, Mr. Simonides Dionysodoros has invested not only in ouzo but also in olive oil business. He currently owns the only olive plantation on Altis but the whole patch of trees were lost to a forest fire this autumn. Mr. Dionysodoros has ordered a large quantity of olive tree saplings which are currently waiting at the plantation for spring to be planted.

Corona has inserted two Versus teams in the vicinity of the plantation: the surgical team (callsign 'Perditus') and the supporting team (callsign 'Derelictus'). The mission has two objectives: Versus operators are to destabilize the Altian economy by eliminating Mr. Dionysodoros and making sure the production does not continue by destroying the saplings. The teams will use the cover of darkness and fog to infiltrate the area, complete the objectives and leave to AO to the north.

Since Versus operators have not yet been able to recover their buried weapons from the south tip of Altis, the teams will have something less than ideal at their disposal.

Enemy

Corona estimates that the plantation and the manor are heavily guarded by Mr. Dionysodoros' personal guard detail. Although their equipment is not believed to be military grade, they have a reputation of fighting effectively off Nekron Chelia in the past. As PMC Versus learned last month, Mr. Dionysodoros' investments on Altis are recognized and protected by the AAF. Corona has located the nearest AAF quick reaction force about 700 meters south-east and the Versus operators should be expecting enemy reinforcements from that direction.

Corona advices the teams to observe the enemy before engaging and leaving the AO before the AAF forces can respond - Versus forces will be at significant disadvantage againt organized military forces.

Corona advices Versus operators again to make use of flashlights, flares and chemlights since Versus has not been able to acquire NVGs. The plantation guards and workers also lack NV capabilities and sneaking in should be relatively easy. Corona has chosen this moonless night in particular for the operation.

OPERATION SEMIDEUS RABIOSUS

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will destroy the Bluking and Vrana teams' go-karts, and eliminate the reporters and the Redstone team manager before disappearing west.

Situation

January 3rd 2025: the annual go-kart world championship event has taken place on Altis today. The drivers' quarters and service point is located in the abandoned town of Oreokastro and the drivers have been taken on a tour of the nearby castle ruins. PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked two Versus teams (callsigns 'Perditus' and 'Derelictus') to sneak into Oreokastro while the drivers are away and make sure this is the last go-kart event in Altian history.

Perditus and Derelictus are to destroy the go-karts before the distribution of prizes later this afternoon. Corona has designated the Bluking and Vrana teams' go-karts as targets, as well as the Redstone team's manager. Corona also wants the Versus operators to try and eliminate at least two of the press reporters residing in the chapel. This will surely attract world wide media coverage on the volatile nature of Altis' current status.

As always, time is of the essence. While the AAF forces have taken responsibility of securing the event, the local AAF troops in Oreocastro are spread thin as half of the forces are guarding Oreocastro and the other half the drivers at the ruins. The AAF helicopters are already transporting an additional security detail from the Gulf and Corona estimates around 10 minutes before they arrive.

Enemy

The AAF have positioned approximately 10-20 foot mobiles with standard military equipment in Oreokastro. PMC Versus operators are again at disadvantage since the high quality equipment hidden in southern Altis has not been recovered yet. On the other hand, Corona has managed to repair the offroad vehicles. Versus operators are to use the offroads' fire power to quickly overwhelm the AAF forces in Oreokastro, and - if need be - ambush the AAF QRF before quickly disappearing west of the AO.

Corona has learned that the AAF QRF approaching from the Gulf consists of two to three helicopters. According to the AAF standard OP, one of these helicopters is a troop transport supported by one to two gunships.

Corona also suspects that the AAF forces guarding the go-kart drivers at the ruins will most likely fortify their positions and protect the drivers rather than investigating the sounds of a firefight.

OPERATION CAESIAE MARIA

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will ambush the fuel transport convoy, seize the temporary prison camp and cover the inmates' escape by neutralizing the immediate AAF response before disappearing to the south.

Situation

January 24th 2025: eight hours ago PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') learned that the Altian maximum security prison was partly destroyed in a gas explosion and the most dangerous inmates are being relocated to a temporary prison camp by the AAF forces for tonight. Corona has seen this as an opportunity to liberate the prisoners and wreak havoc among the Altian populace. Two Versus teams have been inserted near the prison camp: the surgical team (callsign 'Perditus') on the and the supporting team (callsign 'Derelictus').

Corona wants the Versus operators to eliminate the AAF forces guarding the temporary camp and also neutralize the immediate AAF response thus allowing the inmates to escape in the cover of darkness and fog.

Corona has learned that a fuel transport convoy is moving towards the temporary camp from the east to provide fuel for the generators meant to keep the prisoners warm for the night. Corona wants Versus operators to ambush the transport and make sure all the vehicles are destroyed. The loss of this much fuel and transport vehicles will surely hurt the AAF forces. Should the convoy reach the temporary prison camp, Versus operators are met with additional resistance. When all the objectives have been completed, Versus teams are to leave the AO to the south.

Enemy

The temporary camp is being guarded by the local AAF forces. PMC Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 is picking up approximately 10 foot mobiles and 2 alpha victors. The AAF response will most likely come from the west since a squad-sized garrison is located in the village of Krya Nera. The second nearest AAF force is believed to be near the airstrip to the south-west. Should everything go as planned, Versus operators have left the AO long before the troops at the airstrip can respond. The convoy is currently on the move and Hannibal-6 has confirmed three victors in tight column formation.

Corona reminds the Versus operators that the prisoners are extremely dangerous and are not to be let near any weapons. Corona has learned that among the prisoners are i.a. Theodoros the Mangler, Kleitos 'The Eel' Panagos and Origenes of Pyrsos. On a more positive note, Corona made a fishing trip to the southern Altis last week and dug up the Versus equipment left there last November. Enjoy.

OPERATION CANES CURRUNT

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will deliver the backpack to the drop off point and reach the safe house

Situation

February 17th 2025: 30 hours ago PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') picked up a transmission on a former Nekron Chelia radio channel. The message revealed the location of a hidden backpack containing decrypted military intel and PMC Versus surgical team (callsign 'Perditus') was tasked to pick it up. Shortly after Perditus had returned to FOB Cuprum with the backpack, PMC Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 picked up major AAF movement towards FOB Cuprum. According to the movement patterns and formations the AAF forces are searching for something, most likely the stolen intel.

Corona wants Perditus to deliver the urban camo carryall -backpack which is currently at FOB Cuprum to the drop off point. Corona has a civilian SUV at the site and Perditus is to hide the backpack in the car's trunk. This way Corona can retrieve the intel even though the operators on site are KIA.

After that, Versus operators are to make for the safe house which contains some surplus weapons and ammunition and make their stand against the AAF forces there if need be.

Corona has also dispatched a secondary Versus team (callsign 'Derelictus') to support Perditus. Even though the secondary team is still far away, the operators have the heavily armed Versus offroads at their disposal. Corona reminds Versus operators to complete the objectives with haste: darkness is falling fast and the AAF forces have NV and thermal capabilities thus putting Versus operators at disadvantage.

Enemy

Hannibal-6 has provided several confirmed AAF foot patrols and alpha victors in the vicity of FOB Cuprum. The most dangerous threat, especially towards the Versus offroads are the two AAF helicopters approaching from the Gulf. Corona recommends neutralizing the helicopters to ensure that the Versus operators avoid being killed or captured by the AAF.

Perditus has not been able to resupply and the team is not armed to effectively engage the AAF forces.

Corona advices Perditus to consider avoiding contact with the numerous AAF search patrols in the area.

OPERATION TERRICULI

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will defend FOB Aurum and investigate the unknown contact in the vicinity

Situation

March 2nd 2025: 2 hours ago PMC Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 picked up an unknown mobile contact in the vicinity of FOB Aurum before suddenly going offline. PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has been trying to establish connection to the satellite without success.

PMC Versus surgical team on Altis (callsign 'Perditus') has been tasked to protect Corona ever since FOB Cuprum was overrun last month. PMC Versus' supporting team (callsign 'Derelictus') is currently moving towards FOB Aurum on foot and has confirmed sightings of armed foot mobiles in the area.

Corona has deemed that abandoning FOB Aurum and all the valuable equipment with it is unacceptable and has tasked Perditus and Derelictus to defend the FOB at all costs. PMC Versus operators are once again ill-equipped for night operation and on top of that the ammunition stolen from the Nekron Chelia have mostly run out thus forcing the operators to use the older small arms.

After the enemy forces have been dealt with Corona wants the operators to investigate the unknown contact in the vicinity. Perhaps that will give more answers about the attackers and how they have found FOB Aurum. Corona has been linked with Perditus and his survival is mission critical.

Enemy

Corona speculates that the enemy forces in the vicinity of FOB Aurum are AAF forces who believe to have finally located a second Nekron Chelia base. Even though PMC Versus has succesfully dealt with the AAF forces in the past months, the military forces have NVGs which makes the situation extremely difficult for Versus operators.

Hannibal-6 did not pick any aerial or armored contacts in the area. The AAF have most likely become more careful in sending aircraft into known NC territory. Corona also believes that the small radio antenna on the end of the bay is somehow important to the local military since there has been no artillery fire.

Hannibal-6's technical problems must be unrelated to the enemy presence since the AAF or even the Greek military forces have no ASAT capabilities.

OPERATION ARGENTUM VIVUM

Mission

Perditus and Derelictus will clear the LZ of hostile forces to enable to exfiltration by Terminus One. Corona is part of Perditus and his survival is mission critical.

Situation

March 4th 2025: after destroying the sensitive equipment along with FOB Aurum, PMC Versus forces on Altis contacted Versus high command in Belarus. The Versus CEO has sanctioned an exfiltration off Altis if the Versus teams can find and secure a landing zone for the two PMC Versus UH-80 Ghost Hawks (callsign 'Terminus One').

PMC Versus teams (callsigns 'Perditus' and 'Derelictus') have located a suitable LZ for the helicopters on the skerry Atsalis. Even though the Versus reconnaissance satellite Hannibal-6 is permanently offline, Versus operators have previously acquired data on AAF positions and the skerry is the only location far enough from the AAF SAM-sites.

PMC Versus personnel have managed to steal AAF ships and NVGs and are making their way to Atsalis. When the LZ is considered clear the teams will radio in on Terminus One who are standing by a few kliks to the north. The helicopters are the only way off Altis and have not been equipped with slingshot capabilities on such short notice so simply picking up the boats from the sea is not an option.

PMC Versus high command (callsign 'Corona') has been attached as part of Perditus and must make out of Altis alive. Versus policies are very clear on CO's.

Enemy

The good news is that the skerry is far from the mainland and there's no need to worry about the AAF and NATO reinforcements. The bad news is that the skerry is an AAF AA observation post and is believed to be occupied by a platoon sized force.

The Versus CEO has confirmed that the employers have been pleased with Versus work on Altis and that the Nekron Chelia identities have not been questioned. He also added that even though PMC Versus exfiltrations have a history of being rough around the edges they have usually been successful.

ALCES

Thirsk operations (2002)

OPERATION IMPERIUM INVISITATUM

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to return fire if fired upon in the lumber mills area. Targets must be identified before firing to avoid civilian casualties. The Versus standard issue firearm on Thirsk is the Knights Armament Company Personal Defence Weapon (KAC PDW) which provides the operators more than enough firepower in close quarter battles.

Situation

June 17th 2002: welcome to Finland, private military company Versus. After a sudden termination of business relations in Chernarus roughly two years ago PMC Versus has been striving without a stable income. However, a private investor Tero Hirvi has employed PMC Versus to ensure the safety of his enterprise on Thirsk. Thirsk is a remote island in south-eastern Finland and neither the Finnish Defence Forces or the Finnish police have been unable to provide safety for its inhabitants due to recent budget cuts.

Mr. Hirvi owns several business ventures on Thirsk which include inter alia lumber mills and a nickel mine. At 1340 hours today Mr. Hirvi received a phone call that his employees were threatened by armed men at two lumber mills just north-east of the Thirsk airfield. After the employees fleed from the lumber mills the armed men started loading lumber onto their trucks. PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked a Versus five operator team (callsign 'Delectus') to stop these men from stealing lumber and to secure the lumber mills in question. After the areas are secure, Delectus will be transported back to the FOB Claustrum by Versus KAMAZ truck (callsign 'Stratum').

The PMC Versus high command believes that the company will be able to establish a strong business relationship with Mr. Hirvi and his company. Thirsk provides a perfect working environment for Versus personnel due to its remote location, rich natural resources and the lack of any trained armed forces.

The third party commission for this operation is 8 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will secure the first and second lumber mill prior to extraction.

OPERATION ARCHIPIRATA

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to engage all armed personnel in Taimenlahti and around Pieni Karhunhammas. Mr. Hirvi has given his lumberjacks paid leave until the pirate threat has been dealt with and there should be no civilians in the area.

Situation

June 18th 2002: the number one business man on Thirsk island, Mr. Hirvi has assigned private military company Versus to get rid of the pirates who have been harassing lumberjacks in Taimenlahti area. Mr. Hirvi has been impressed by Versus work so far and the Versus high command is positive that the business relationship with Mr. Hirvi and his company Moose Incorporated will be a long lasting one. The Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has placed an order for an armed patrol boat which should help Versus operators hunt down the pirates. The boat is to be delivered at 0700 hours today and Corona has sent a five operator team (callsign 'Delectus') to receive the vehicle.

The lumberjacks working for Mr. Hirvi have reported pirate activity at the river near Pieni Karhunhammas and Corona wants Delectus to patrol the river and neutralize all pirates they encounter. Versus scouts have reported that the pirates have at least five small boats which they use to quickly travel the waters around Thirsk. It is known that the pirates use a small bight in Taimenlahti to repair and refuel their boats.

The scouts have also pinpointed the pirates' base of operations and the pirate leader. Delectus is to destroy all these five pirate boats and eliminate the person in charge. The lumberjacks have also told that the pirates have taken over a Moose Inc. lumber mill and use it as a camp. After Delectus has completed all these tasks the operators are to return to FOB Claustrum. Corona reminds Delectus that Valliallas is separated from the sea by a dam and is inaccessible by the boat delivered.

The third party commission for this operation is 9 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will patrol the river, destroy all five pirate boats, clear the pirate camp, eliminate the pirate chief and finally return to FOB Claustrum.

OPERATION PRO PECUNIA

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus must hold fire unless fired upon since lots of civilians are working in the operation area. Delectus should also keep their weapons concealed to avoid disrupting the workers. Corona advises Delectus to drive carefully since Mr. Hirvi's safety is not only mission critical but also the backbone for Versus operations in Finland.

Situation

June 19th 2002: the private military company Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has made a background check on the Finnish business man, Mr. Hirvi. Mr. Hirvi has been the main employer of PMC Versus on Thirsk island and it turns out that Mr. Hirvi's company Moose Incorporated is the biggest forestry company in Finland. Mr. Hirvi says his secret is that he personally visits his workers every workday. Impressed by Versus work with the pirates yesterday, Mr. Hirvi wants Versus to escort him while he visits the working sites today.

Corona has assigned a five operator team (callsign 'Delectus') to go and pick up Mr. Hirvi from his villa at 0900 hours this morning. Delectus will drive Mr. Hirvi to his sawmill and lumber yard and finally to a meeting with a local oil company owner, Mr. Jorma Eravainen. Mr. Eravainen is the owner and CEO of Rocknoil oil company which started doing business in Finland the same time as Moose Inc. The meeting will be held at the Rocknoil oil refinery and after the meeting is over Delectus will drive Mr. Hirvi back to his villa.

Corona reminds Delectus that Mr. Hirvi does not speak English and normally communicates with Versus personnel via a translator. However, Mr. Hirvi informed Corona that he will be the only one that needs to be driven around. Apparently the translator has called in sick today since by tradition the Finns consume enormous amounts of alcohol on Tuesdays.

The third party commission for this operation is 2 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will pick up the business man from his villa, drive him to his sawmill, lumber yard and to Rocknoil's oil refinery and finally return him safely back.

OPERATION FLAGELLUM FINLANDIAE

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to engage all armed personnel. Corona has authorized the use of assault rifles in this operation because of the possibility of an ambush. Tonight's operation is strictly off the books and Mr. Hirvi and Versus high command will deny any Versus involvement if the local authorities were to catch Delectus.

Situation

June 20th 2002: after barely avoiding the attempt on the life of the employer of private military company Versus, Mr. Hirvi is positive that the man behind this was indeed Rocknoil's owner and CEO, Mr. Eravainen. Mr. Hirvi has assigned PMC Versus to retaliate by all means possible. PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has located Mr. Eravainen's boat and sports car which are to be destroyed by the five operator Versus team (callsign 'Delectus').

The whereabouts of Mr. Eravainen are currently unknown. Mr. Hirvi received an anynomous phone call yesterday at 2000 hours saying that Mr. Eravainen can be found at an abandoned cottage in Elimyssalo. The Elimyssalo area is known to be the home of an ancient Finnish sect known as the cult of Iku-Turso and since it is highly likely that the anynomous caller was leading Versus and Mr. Hirvi into a trap Corona has authorized Delectus to use assault rifles. Corona believes that this cult is somehow related to the cult of Al-Ma'iza as-Sauda al-Ghatabi which PMC Versus encountered two years ago in Chernarus and therefore extreme caution is advised.

After the three objectives have been completed Delectus will be extracted by Versus KAMAZ truck (callsign 'Stratum'). If Mr. Eravainen is indeed at the cottage Delectus is to capture him alive. Mr. Hirvi apparently plans to ship Mr. Eravainen to Ivalo, a ghost town in northern Finland from which no man has ever returned. Corona reminds Delectus that due to the lack local police Thirsk island is especially dangerous at night.

The third party commission for this operation is 15 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will destroy the boat and the car and check the cottage prior to extraction.

OPERATION LEX TALIONIS

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to engage any armed personnel and the targets. The Rocknoil Oil Company CEO Mr. Jorma Eravainen must be taken alive as per employer's orders. Delectus should keep their weapons concealed to avoid disrupting civilians. Corona emphasizes that Mr. Hirvi's safety is not only mission critical but also the backbone for Versus operations in Finland and defending his villa takes priority.

Corona has provided Delectus with a pair of sniper rifles to assassinate the two high value targets. Due to the urgent nature of the pirate attack Delectus is not armed ideally for a defensive objective.

Situation

June 21st 2002: the private military company Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has received an assignment from the owner of Moose Incorporated Mr. Hirvi. Mr. Hirvi wants PMC Versus to facilitate a hostile takeover of Mr. Eravainen's oil company, Rocknoil. This will be achieved by neutralizing key personnel in the organization and at the same time retaliating the numerous attempts on the lives of Versus personnel and Mr. Hirvi.

Corona has assigned a five operator team (callsign 'Delectus') to neutralize Rocknoil personnel. Delectus has barely recovered from the black operation conducted yesterday but Corona has no other teams available for this kind of delicate operation. Delectus has three targets in this operation.

1) Rocknoil owner and CEO Mr. Jorma Eravainen is to be captured alive. He is believed to hide in a storage facility in Hirvenpaa. Delectus must put the target in handcuffs and let Mr. Hirvi's personnel deal with him. Mr. Eravainen must survive as PMC Versus employer has plans for him. Corona believes that the target is under guard and the guards must be neutralized for the target to surrender.

2) Rocknoil PR manager Mr. Aleksi Kalmannakija is to be eliminated. Corona has received intel that goes to the marketplace to buy booze at Fridays. The marketplace is in front the town church in Thirsk. Only characteristics we have at the moment is that Mr. Kalmannakija has long dark hair and likes the local metal band, Pain Professor. Corona has no reason to believe that the target is aware of any threats.

3) Rocknoil brand manager Mr. Kalevi Ruttonalle is to be eliminated. Since all work at the Rocknoil company has been halted, Corona believes that Mr. Ruttonalle is driving his motorcycle somewhere in Karhunhammas. It is known that the target keeps his bodyguards with him at all times. The anynomous phone call the day before yesterday has been traced to Mr. Ruttonalle's cellphone.

However, Delectus has a more pressing matter at hand. At 1220 Corona received a phone call from Mr. Hirvi saying that his villa is under attack. Mr. Hirvi believes that Mr. Eravainen has paid a group of pirates to attack his villa and take him captive or worse. Defending Mr. Hirvi's property takes priority. After all four objectives have been completed Delectus is to return to FOB Claustrum.

The third party commission for this operation is 18 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will defend the villa against the pirates, eliminate the PR manager, capture the CEO and eliminate the brand manager prior to returning to FOB Claustrum.

OPERATION CAVEAT EMPTOR

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to engage any armed personnel. Civilian activity on the roads is expected to be at minimum due to Midsummer's Eve's celebrations. Civilian population has most likely retreated to their cottages to burn bonfires, eat, drink and celebrate.

Corona emphasizes that the safety of Mr. Hirvi and Mr. Mursu is mission critical. Although the enemy tank poses a significant threat it is likely that the pirates are not fully trained to operate it. The Finnish AT weapons - if they are still operational - should be enough to neutralize the old armor.

Situation

June 22nd 2002: Midsummer's Eve. The Moose Incorporated owner Mr. Hirvi has told private military company local high command (callsign 'Corona') the secret behind his forestry company's success. Together with Rocknoil Oil Company, Moose Inc. has been pumping radioactive material into the soil to make the trees grow with exceptional speed. Mr. Hirvi is afraid that the recent violent events will draw attention and eventually reveal the truth about his compan. Mr. Hirvi has decided the sell Moose Inc. along with the recently captured Rocknoil Oil Company. The business meeting is being held at Mr. Hirvi's summer cottage on Ylamylly because Villa Hirvi has sustained light damage in yesterday's pirate attack.

Corona has assigned a five operator team (callsign 'Delectus') to ensure that the business meeting and Midsummer's Eve's party goes as planned. Delectus must protect Mr. Hirvi and the buyer, Mr. Bjorn Mursu. Mr. Hirvi has requested PMC Versus support because apparently the pirates are on warpath due to the assassination of the pirate chief on Tuesday.

Corona has received intel that the pirates have stolen a tank from a Russian museum and transported it to Thirsk along the ice last winter. The tank was hidden in a cargo container in Sudensuoja and the pirates are driving it towards Mr. Hirvi's summer cottage along the road. Corona's thermal optics have also spotted a foot patrol approaching the cottage. Delectus must neutralize both these threats and finally join the party at the cottage. Mr. Hirvi wants the buyer to feel safe and there's plenty of liquor available.

Corona is aware that PMC Versus has no AT equipment in Thirsk island. However, Corona has located a possible stash of old weapons of the Finnish Defence Force. These weapons belonged to a Finnish squad of recruit combat engineers which was lost during a field exercise some twenty years ago. Delectus is to check the weapon stash for operational AT weapons and ambush the armored threat.

The third party commission for this operation is 9 000 euros.

Mission

Delectus will get the AT supplies, neutralize the armor and the foot mobiles and join the party at the cottage.

OPERATION IUGULATUS

Rules of engagement

The effects of the lack of Finnish police and military presence on Thirsk are two-fold. This causes bandits and raiders to roam the island relatively free but on the other hand provides PMC Versus business deals and the freedom to carry firearms without fear of authority interference.

Rules of engagement dictate that Delectus is free to engage any armed personnel. Corona has been able to smuggle explosives to Finnish soil so that Delectus may deal with the helicopter and the radio tower. The charges are in the trunk of the Versus SUV and Corona reminds Delectus to drive carefully. Corona has also authorized Delectus to use the AA-12 weapon system.

Versus combat engineers have also mounted a M134 rotating barrel machine gun on top of the second Versus SUV since Ykspihlaja is believed to be heavily fortified and time is of the essence. Even though this contraption will surely draw attention, all Versus personnel will be leaving Finland before the authorities can get to Thirsk from the mainland.

Situation

June 23rd 2002: private military company Versus's primary employer in Finland has been the Moose Inc. owner, Mr. Hirvi. PMC Versus team (callsign 'Delectus') woke up to a terrible hangover at Mr. Hirvi's summer cottage and apparently Moose Inc. has been sold last night. There's one last thing Mr. Hirvi wants PMC Versus to do for him and that's preventing the gruesome truth about Moose Inc. from leaking off Thirsk. Mr. Hirvi needs time to arrange his escape with the money.

PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked Delectus with three mission objectives. First, to ensure the destruction of a helicopter which has crash landed earlier today. The helicopter may contain critical information about Moose Inc. Second, the destruction of a radio tower which provides the internet connection to whole Thirsk island. Third, the elimination of a Rocknoil survivor, Mr. Eravainen's assistant, Mr. Mallas.

Mr. Mallas the assistant is believed to have fortified himself at Ykspihlaja. After hearing that Mr. Eravainen was not in charge anymore he emptied the Rocknoil safe and stole a large sum of cash which he has now used to hire pirates to protect him. Delectus is to expect heavy resistance at Ykspihlaja and possible patrols in the surrounding woods.

After these three tasks have been completed Delectus is to meet Mr. Hirvi at Thirsk airport. Mr. Hirvi has spend the morning preparing a plane to take him and Delectus off Thirsk. Mr. Hirvi has paid off the airport employees who were healthy enough to come to work this Sunday.

The third party commission for this operation is 10 000 euros plus Sunday extra +100%.

Mission

Delectus will ensure the destruction of the helicopter, destroy the radio tower, eliminate the assistant, meet the employer by the plane and leave Thirsk with him.

SAGITTARIUS

Chernarus campaign (1998-2000)

OPERATION COEPTUS

Situation

June 5th 1998: two days ago the Chernarussian government officially surrendered to the NATO forces after seven months of intensive fighting. The Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) had been fighting both the Chernarussian Defence Force (CDF) and the NATO invaders. Now however, the ChDKZ has taken a keen interest and priority to drive the foreign invaders off Chernarus. While the main element of ChDKZ is fighting inland the ChDKZ commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has assigned a newly formed Belarussian private military company Versus team (callsign: 'November') to assist in eliminating a high value target in the small Skalisty island. Due to ChDKZ's recent financial problems Smirnov has been forced to hire less-than-ideal assistance to deal with its problems.

The PMC in question has purchased an UH-1H helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') with all of its money to ensure smooth completion of this mission. Versus has never operated in Chernarus but is eager to solidify business relations with Smirnov and the ChDKZ. Due to this new purchase Versus is not able to equip the operators with ideal weaponry. PMC Versus is hopeful to establish a long lasting business deal with the ChDKZ and gain additional funds.

The comission for these assigned tasks is $70 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

The number and fighting quality of enemy fighters on Skalisty island is estimated to be low. The island functions as a HQ and reception for arriving NATO forces and therefore consist mainly of maintenance forces and light defences. Versus operators will use silenced weapons and the cover of darkness to surprise the enemy. The only way for enemy reinforcements to Skalisty island is via boat or helicopter although intel indicates that most of the NATO airforces are otherwise occupied in the main land. A unit of three boats has been tasked to carry reinforcements from nearby garrison of US FORECON if necessary.

Versus operators will be inserted in a CRRC boat in the cover of darkness. To enable the elimination of the high value target Versus operators (callsign: 'November') must first deny the enemy reinforcements by destroying the boats. After the elimination of the HVT Versus operators must enable their immediate extraction by destroying the enemy AA defences. The AA defences consist of a single M1097 Avenger weapon system. After all the objectives have been completed the operators are extracted by helicopter (callsign: 'Terminus One').

Mission

November will locate and destroy three enemy boats prior to eliminating a High Value Target and destroying anti-air unit to enable extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION SOTER AVIDUS

Situation

June 14th 1998: due to the recent successes of private military company Versus The Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has tasked Versus to extract ChDKZ high ranking officer Abram Ivanov from the village of Tulga. Tulga has eluded occupation by the NATO forces in Chernarus but intel indicates that both US and UK forces have learned the whereabouts of the said officer. PMC Versus has been assigned to quickly make contact with Ivanov and extract him from Chernarus. Survival of Ivanov is essential to further ChDKZ resistance against the NATO forces and eventually the Chernarussion government.

PMC Versus operators (callsign 'November') will be inserted to Chernarus via CRRC boat to avoid alerting the enemy that ChDKZ knows Ivanov's location has been compromised. operators will then move to the village of Tulga and make contact with Ivanov. Ivanov is imposing as a civilian but has already made preparations to counter the initial reaction force. To enable safe extraction by the newly purchased UH-1 helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') Versus operators must ambush and destroy the quick reaction teams tasked by the NATO local command. The comission for these assigned tasks is $100 000.

To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

The NATO forces in Chernarus are currently occupied in the north-west dealing with the last line of defence of the NAPA forces and are therefore unable to respond quickly to this low threat situation. However, there are two close proximity forward observation bases north and west of Tulga. These bases consist mainly of motorized infantry sections. Intel indicates that these bases are forming quick reactions teams to neutralize Ivanov. To enable safe extraction by helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') these quick reaction teams must be neutralized. To annul their superior manpower Versus operators (callsign 'November') must ambush and destroy these forces with the help of Ivanov's equipment.

Intel indicates that the NATO local command also tasked a second unit to help neutralize Ivanov. This unit is en route from the northern airport. Versus operators must complete assigned tasks before this force reaches Tulga since Versus does not have the capability to respond to armored threats. Since whole of Chernarus is occupied by NATO forces random patrols are to be expected especially near the coast.

Mission

November will make contact with the high value individual and ambush the two quick reaction teams prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION AUGESCIMUS

Situation

August 25th 1998: the belarussian private military company Versus has become the primary surgical tool for Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov, commander-in-chief of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ). The Elektrozavodsk power plant has been captured by the NATO forces but was apparently damaged in the initial attack and is not functional at the moment. ChDKZ intelligence has learned that a group of high level engineers has been assigned by the NATO maintenance to repair the damage. It is not known whether these engineers are military personnel or civilians but eliminating them would deny the enemy significant amount of resources. Utter destruction of the facility is not desired.

PMC Versus operators (callsign 'November') have been inserted to Chernarus the previous day. Due to heavy enemy activity near the power plant, Smirnov has assigned major Abram Ivanov (callsign 'Soroka') to orchestrate a ChDKZ raid party. This party will consist of two platoons of foot mobiles which will be inserted west of the power plant by two Mi17 helicopters (callsign 'Mukha'). In addition, a BTR armored personnel carrier (callsign 'Barsuk') will support the raid. Versus operators will move to a vantage point and take out the AA defences to enable safe insertion for the ChDKZ troops.

After the ChDKZ attack has commenced Versus will provide support which ever way possible and ensure the elimination of said three engineers. When Versus operators have completed these tasks and estimate that extraction by helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') is safe they will move to the extraction zone. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel. The comission for these assigned tasks is $270 000.

Enemy

It is apparent that the engineers gathered at the power plant are of significant value since the NATO high command has tasked roughly a platoon strenght detachment of USMC troops to protect the site. Intelligence indicates that enemy has no armor or air support but is highly capable of neutralizing aerial threats. Elektrozavodsk is currently not occupied by NATO forces. However, there is an armor detachment east of the power plant which is likely to respond to the ChDKZ attack.

Mission

November will neutralize the AA defences on the roof to enable safe insertion for ChDKZ troops. November will then assist the raid in whatever way possible and eliminate key personnel inside the power plant prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION UMBRAE

Situation

December 8th 1998: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has assigned the private military company Versus to conduct several tasks in north-west Chernarus. ChDKZ has recently lost most of its covert agents in a CDF raid and is therefore using Versus to infiltrate enemy bases. Intelligence indicates that the NATO forces and the CDF are planning a massive sweep of the entire region in order to find the last pockets of ChDKZ resistance. A copy of these plans is believed to be in possession of CDF commander stationed in Vybor.

PMC Versus operators (callsign 'November') have been inserted deep behind enemy lines disguised as civilians. Versus operators will use the cover of darkness and weapons inserted earlier by parachute to respond to enemy threats. The primary objective of these operators is to extract a copy of said plans from this building in Vybor. Vybor also holds CDF HQ which acts as a center of operations for all CDF movement. Versus operators are to clear this building of any and all enemy personnel and level the building with explosives.

Last task before leaving the mission area is the destruction of two CDF fuel trucks stationed near Lopatino. Destroying CDF fuel supply and the HQ is expected to slow down the NATO-CDF sweep so that ChDKZ forces may avoid it completely. After completing these tasks Versus operators will rendezvous at the lumber mill which has been established as a base of operations for PMC Versus in Chernarus. An additional Versus team (callsign 'Ballista') has been inserted to take care of possible pursuers of November. November will report operation progress to Ballista. The payment for this assignment is $400 000 which PMC Versus plans to use for a second helicopter to support Terminus One.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the NATO forces in Chernarus have assigned the control of both Vybor and Lopatino to CDF troops. Enemy presence is these towns are expected to be light and centered around the military establisments. In addition, CDF troops have poor night vision equipment and this can be used to Versus operators' advantage. However, the NATO forces have set up quick reaction teams near the airfield ready to help the CDF forces if necessary.

According to PMC Versus' primary demolition expert, three satchel charges is estimated to be enough to demolish the CDF HQ if placed in the lobby. Both Lopatino and Vybor have present civilian population. Per rules of engagement, Versus operatives will first of all avoid unnecessary civilian casualties.

Mission

November will acquire weapons, steal the plans, clear and blow up CDF HQ and destroy two CDF fuel trucks prior to moving north to the lumber mill.

OPERATION AVERSUS

Situation

December 9th 1998: after lasts night's covert operation to destroy CDF targets private military company Versus team (callsign 'November') retreated to the lumber mill which serves as base of operations for PMC Versus in Chernarus. Versus operational command has learned that CDF forces in Lopatino have discovered the location of the lumber mill and have already launched an combined operations offensive of CDF light armor, air and infantry units. NATO forces in the area are currently occupied with the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) forces in the east. This means two things: first, the NATO forces are not assisting the CDF offensive and secondly, ChDKZ forces are unable to assist PMC Versus in countering the offensive.

The PMC Versus base at the lumber mill holds newly purchased equipment and must be protected since relocating the equipment at this point is not possible. To help November to defend the base PMC Versus has dispatched local operational command (callsign 'Corona') north of the lumber mill. Corona has further assigned a single operator (callsign 'Oculus') to scope enemy movement and report back to November. Another Versus team (callsign 'Ballista') is also in the area to provide support in defending the base. November must neutralize the initial CDF offensive so that Corona can orchestrate to move the PMC Versus base to another location. PMC Versus helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') is on standby to transport a team of Versus combat engineers (callsign 'Insidia') to move the base once the immediate threat has been countered. There is no third party comission for this operation and all Versus operators must strive to preserve Versus equipment.

All Versus operators will use English as main language during this operation due to the fact that combat engineers of Insidia cannot speak Russian.

Enemy

Intel indicates that CDF forces have accumulated a hasty offensive to retaliate last night's operation. The enemy forces consists of a single CDF rotary wing aircraft, possibly a Mi24 attack helicopter, three to four light armor and a platoon strenght infantry unit. November is advised to use all the equipment found at the lumber mill to counter this offensive. All of the enemy units are estimated to approach the lumber mill from the south-east. The lumber mill has only hastily constructed defences and may not be the best position to initiate contact with the enemy forces.

Versus operators have the advantage of knowing where and when the enemy is about to attack. The terrain south-east of the base is relatively open which puts enemy infantry at disadvantage. CDF retaliation is also expected to move rapidly and the enemy does not expect Versus to fight back but retreat.

Mission

November will neutralize the initial CDF offensive by destroying enemy helicopter, armor and infantry and hold position at the lumber mill.

OPERATION ABYSSUS INVOCAT

Situation

Dec 16th 1998: after successfully relocating the FOB seven days ago, the private military company Versus has come in possession of highly valuable intel. The USMC is sending a support convoy from Khelm to USMC occupied airport in north-east Chernarus at 0135 hours. This convoy consists of three vehicles which are ordered to support and reinforce the USMC troops at the airfield. The PMC Versus has also learned that a LAV-25A2 amphibious reconnaissance vehicle has been positioned near the airfield for maintenance. Versus high local operational command has tasked an unit of five Versus operators (callsign 'November') to ambush the convoy, steal the LAV and - disguised as USMC transportation - deliver the LAV to the forest north-west of the airfield.

Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov, commander-in-chief of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) was pleased when PMC Versus informed him of the plan and has assigned ChDKZ troops to attack a CDF garrison at the same. This will hopefully engulf the sounds coming from the destruction of the convoy. Smirnov has also promised a reward of $200 000 for the successful execution of this operation.

Once the PMC Versus operators have destroyed the convoy and acquired the LAV they must remain inside of the vehicle and try to the best of their ability to masquerade as USMC. Were the USMC forces to discover enemy presence, the airfield is swarming with infantry, armor and aircraft. Since this operation is extremely high risk, PMC Versus cannot provide the operators with expensive equipment.

Enemy

Intel indicates strong enemy presence in and near the airfield consisting of infantry, armor and also rotary and fixed wing aircraft. However, the close proximity of the LAV target vehicle is lightly guarded at maximum. The convoy itself consists of three vehicle, one of which is a similar LAV-25A2. The PMC Versus local command estimates that it is not possible to capture this particular vehicle since the crew is already inside and on the move.

The new Versus FOB is located in northern Chernarus, and it is imperative that the target LAV is delivered in the forest north-west of the airfield. A ChDKZ guerilla (callsign 'Soroka') is waiting for November (no pun intended) at the location. PMC Versus local operational command (callsign 'Corona') is also assisting November on this operation. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Mission

November will ambush the and destroy the convoy of three vehicles, steal the LAV and disappear into the forest.

OPERATION MANUS DEI

Situation

March 17th 1999: private military company Versus has been operating in Chernarus for approximately ten months, mainly working for the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ). PMC Versus has recently learned that some of ChDKZ activity has been something that might be characterized as shady. However, Versus has already established strong connections with the ChDKZ and high command is willing to keep operating for the freedom fighters. The NATO forces occupying Chernarus are not aware of PMC Versus involvement in the guerilla warfare but Versus intel has learned that an Australian reporter has been doing contiguous research regarding the occupation of Chernarus. Intel indicates that this reporter is about to leave Chernarus and publish the story - which includes the knowledge of Versus involvement - in a multinational newspaper. This information will utterly destroy PMC Versus reputation by tying it to war criminals.

The reporter named Joe Harris is leaving Chernarus from the north-east airfield in a civilian airplane scheduled to leave at 1730 hours. PMC Versus operators (callsign 'November') have been inserted near the airfield but it is not known if the reporter is already at the airfield or by what means he will arrive there. November must eliminate the reporter before he leaves and confirm the kill. Since this means Versus operators cannot simply assassinate the reporter from a distance but must also move into the airfield Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has assigned November to also destroy critical equipment at the airfield. This includes two A-10A ground-attack aircrafts and an anti-air radar and it is believed that the USMC is more likely to abandon the airfield since there's no critical equipment to preserve. After completing these tasks November will disappear into the forest south-east of the airfield.

There is no third party commission for this operation - on the line is PMC Versus reputation. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates strong USMC infantry and armor presence at the airfield an it is advised that November will not open fire before they have identified the primary target as he may flee in any sight of trouble. Operation Merces Lefiter reduced Versus AA weaponry to zero and therefore ambushing the aircraft carrying the reporter is out of the question. The ChDKZ forces were also unable to assist Versus in any way on such a short notice. However, said operation also destroyed the last NATO attack helicopters in northern Chernarus.

PMC Versus has been working closely with military armor experts to instruct Versus personnel to operate the LAV-25A amphibious reconnaissance vehicle which was acquired last December in Versus operation Abyssus Invocat. The LAV (designation 'Tempestas') is now operational and November has been fully instructed in its use. Tempestas has been hidden near the November insertion point and is ready to use. The vehicle also contains explosives and a Javelin AT weapon system to neutralize enemy armor at the airfield.

Mission

November will eliminate the reporter, confirm the kill, destroy two aircrafts and disable the AA radar prior to disappearing in the forest.

OPERATION IRA IOVIS

Situation

May 22nd 1999: as spring was turning to summer in Chernarus, the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov was returning to his summer cottage only to see it infested by local gunmen. After assessing the situation from afar colonel Smirnov has identified this band of brigands to be Chernarussian NAPA fighters led by their commanding officer, major Nikita Potapenko. Colonel Smirnov has tasked his favorite operators, the Belarussian private military company Versus to deal with his problem. The colonel wants every single one of the NAPA fighters eliminated along with major Potapenko. Colonel Smirnov is currently residing in nearby village of Kabanino and has taken the identity of a local shoemaker Radim Vosahlo.

PMC Versus has inserted a team of five operators (callsign 'November') in the approximity of the summer cottage. November will report mission progress to colonel Smirnov (callsign 'Iuppiter'). After purging the cottage of enemy fighters November will neutralize the last pocket of NAPA resistance in Chernarus which is located on a nearby hill east of the cottage. Once both the objectives have been completed, November will be extracted by the Versus UH-1 helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One').

Iuppiter believes that the enemy is not aware that this Cottage and the pond Prud belong to the leader of the ChDKZ. The enemy fighters at the cottage seem to mainly consist of unarmed or lightly armed officers and high ranking individuals but there also is believed to be a guard detail. The cottage has suffered significant damage done by the partying enemy fighters and Iuppiter has highlighted that the cottage shall suffer no further damage in the assault. November has reserved gas masks and tear gas to flush the enemy forces from the vicinity of the cottage. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel. The comission for this high merit operation is $320 000.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the NAPA fighters at the cottage are lightly armed and unprepared for an attack. Colonel Smirnov counted eight enemy fighters in addition to major Potapenko. The NAPA base however is believed to be heavily guarded by infantry and light armor. The ChDKZ fighters have given Versus operators a M224 60mm mortar to use on the NAPA base. Unfortunately November lacks the necessary training for mortars.

PMC Versus was unable to provide November with top-of-the-line equipment on this mission due to budget cuts. Versus high command apologizes to November for not being able to provide a more suitable vehicle and also for not being able to coordinate a combined operation with the ChDKZ on such a short notice. The cottage takes priority and November will have to make do.

Mission

November will purge Smirnov's summer cottage of enemies and continue to seize the last NAPA base on Chernarus before the extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION SOMNI AESTATIS

Situation

June 10th 1999: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov contacted the Belarussian private military company Versus forward observation base Nidus about an hour ago. The NATO forces have discovered ChDKZ fighters who had set up an encampment in an abandoned factory near the village of Orlovets. At 2330 hours the NATO special forces raided the factory complex and killed most of the ChDKZ fighters. A section of these special forces were inserted on the roof of the factory by an MH-6J Little Bird helicopter which was slightly damaged during the landing. This caused the enemy forces to stay in the facility and await for engineers to repair it rather than extracting right away.

Smirnov wants PMC Versus to infiltrate the factory, assess the situation of the helicopter, repair it if necessary and fly it to the ChDKZ lines in the north. This will further weaken the NATO airforce which has already suffered significant losses against the ChDKZ and Versus in the past year. The PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') is aware that the NATO forces have set up an AA installation at a nearby hill which must be neutralized before the helicopter can be safely flown to the Black Mountain. A Versus quick reaction team (callsign 'November') has been inserted near the factory. Versus high command has also dispatched a two operator sniper team (callsign 'Auceps') in the vicinity of the factory. Auceps will provide support if the situation demands it.

The PMC Versus high command plans to use the helicopter to support the Versus transport helicopter Terminus One. The comission for these assigned tasks is $250 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the nearest NATO forces reside in the town of Nizhnoye to the east. These forces consist of mainly enemy armor and it is likely that they will respond to this attack were the Versus operators discovered. However, the ChDKZ guerillas have determined the most likely route of these reinforcements and set up a minefield. This should at least slow the enemy down and buy Versus operators the necessary time to leave the area with the helicopter. Corona believes that due to poor weather conditions - especially the fog - November will be able to leave the area unnoticed by enemy AA. Corona has hand picked the November operators since this operation requires expertise in both engineering and piloting the aircraft.

PMC Versus high command deems that enemy forces in the factory area consist of only small number of infantry units which have already been weakened in the battle against the ChDKZ fighters. However, it is expected that the enemy combatants have top-of-the-range weaponry and night vision capability.

Mission

November will neutralize the AA installation and reach the Black Mountain with the enemy helicopter.

OPERATION NECO ERGO EMEREO

Situation

June 12th 1999: after successfully completing operation Somni Aestatis two days ago, private military company Versus operators (callsign 'November') have been camping and celebrating the acquisition of a new helicopter at pond Ozerko. At 1410 hours they were contacted by Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') that the Versus UH-1H helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') was crashed near the village of Gorka. Also at the same time the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov contacted Versus that a ChDKZ high ranking officer Abram Ivanov has been arrested by local police for the possession of illegal firearms.

Ivanov's (designation 'Neptunus') residence is in the village of Myshkino and the nearest police station is in the town of Stary Sobor. Corona has tasked November to free Neptunus before the police can transport him to the police station. After Neptunus is free he will disappear the way he sees fit and November will move to his residence and destroy all possible evidence of his involvement with the ChDKZ by blowing up the building. After completing these tasks November will be picked up by the newly acquired MH-6J helicopter (callsign 'Cinyphes One') and transported to Terminus One crash site. The comission for these assigned tasks is $120 000.

Enemy

Corona has received a file containing the strength and armament of the Chernarussian police. Apparently the primary service weapon is an old Tokarev TT33 semiautomatic pistol and the special police use a World War 2 era submachinegun. Police units consist of three man teams. Intel indicates that the police are suspecting Neptunus' involvement with the ChDKZ and have called special agent Vlastimil Bobek to investigate.

Colonel Smirnov provided PMC Versus with two more pieces of intelligence. Firstly, he is positive that the police escort travels through the town of Rogovo due to reports of domestic violence. Second, he has informed that there is an old ChDKZ weapons cache in the ruins of castle Zub which November can use.

Mission

November will free Neptunus before the escort reaches the police station and blow up Neptunus residence prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION TERMINUS SALVATE

Situation

June 12th 1999: after successfully freeing The Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) high ranking officer Abram Ivanov in the Versus operation Neco Ergo Emereo, the same five operator team (callsign 'November') has been extracted from the village of Myskhino by the Versus MH-6J helicopter (callsign 'Cinyphes One'). November has been tasked with the extraction of a downed Versus UH-1H transport helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') which was en route from the east coast with a load of newly purchased infantry weapons.

Private military company Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has been unable to confirm the status of Terminus One's pilot and the team on board (callsign 'Nox'). November will be inserted near the suspected crash site by Cinyphes One to confirm the status of the helicopter as well as Nox and the pilot. Corona has a team of engineers (callsign 'Glutinum') on stand-by at FOB Nidus to come and repair and refuel the helicopter if the damage is not too severe. If they are able to repair Terminus One, the pilot or November will fly the helicopter to the friendly ChDKZ lines in the north-east.

Corona is aware of the fact that November is not suitably equipped for this kind of extraction but November is authorized to use what ever cargo can be found on board Terminus One to protect the crash site. Were Terminus One confirmed repairable, the survival of Terminus One as well as Glutinum is mission critical. There is no third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

Intel indicates that Terminus One was shot down by the USMC triple-A in the vicinity of Berezino and it is highly likely that both the USMC and the British Armed Forces positioned in the village of Orlovets will send a quick reaction teams to the crash site. Corona has authorized November to use lethal force to defend the crash site and Glutinum. These quick reaction teams will most likely consist of heavily armed motorized infantry.

Mission

November will be inserted near the crash site to confirm the status of the helicopter, hold position at the crash site and cover the engineers prior to flying the helicopter the the friendly ChDKZ lines.

OPERATION AXIS MUNDI

Situation

June 24th 1999: Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov, commander-in-chief of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) has tasked the Belarussian private military company Versus to assist in seizing the town of Novy Sobor currently occupied by the USMC. This will be a high profile combined operation of infantry, armor and airmobile units. A five man Versus team (callsign 'November') will be inserted east to Novy Sobor at 0250 hours. November's first task is to neutralize three enemy AT installations located here, here and here and an AA installation to further facilitate the survival of ChDKZ armor and air units. The assault will commence at 0300 hours whether or not these tasks have been completed.

The ChDKZ forces have captured a significant collection of military vehicles in the past year with the help of PMC Versus. The number of ChDKZ troops however does not meet the requirements for this kind of operation and the attacking infantry is low on numbers. This is why November will provide support fire with sniper rifles and AT weapons during the whole operation. The ChDKZ troops will approach the town from north, east and south. In addition to the infantry units (callsigns 'Obezana and 'Gorilla'), technical teams (callsigns 'Krysa' and 'Polevka') and armored platoons (callsigns 'Byk' and 'Korova'), colonel Smirnov has detached a Mi-17 helicopter (callsign 'Straus') and a Su-25 Frogfoot ground-attack plane (callsign 'Prodavat') to provide close air support. After the town has been seized November will be extracted by the Versus UH-1 helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One'). November will not have direct comms to ChDKZ units but must communicate via ChDKZ operation command (callsign 'Soroka').

To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel. The comission for this operation is $330 000.

Enemy

Intel indicates strong enemy presence in the town of Novy Sobor. The enemy forces mainly consist of infantry and light armor and they are strongly fortified. The primary threat to ChDKZ armor and air units are the three BGM-71 TOW AT weapon systems and a FIM-92 Stinger weapon platform. Even though the neutralization of these weapons is not mission critical, they pose a significant threat. Enemy in the town is estimated about platoon strenght.

A heavy armor detachment is located south-west of the town and will likely respond to the ChDKZ threat. Prodavat has been tasked to take out these armored vehicles should they move in towards Novy Sobor.

Mission

November will assist in seizing the town of Novy Sobor prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION FULTUS

Situation

July 15th 1999: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has taken notice that both the NATO forces occupying Chernarus and the local CDF have been struggling against the asymmetric warfare of the combined forces of private military company Versus and the ChDKZ. Intel indicates that in the past 13 months of Versus operations on Chernarus the CDF and NATO have taken little effort to reinforce the locations hit by the guerilla operations. Colonel Smirnov has decided that it is time for the ChDKZ to gain more ground in Chernarus by completely neutralizing the areas already weakened in the past 13 months. In order to do this however, the ChDKZ must neutralize the NATO mobile artillery which has just arrived in the eastern Chernarus.

Colonel Smirnov has tasked PMC Versus to support the ChDKZ assault on the depot where the artillery is temporarily positioned. Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has dispatched a five operator team (callsign 'November') just north of the depot. November will support the ChDKZ assault team (callsign 'Zmea') which will be approaching the depot from the north-east. November can track their position with GPS. After seizing the depot November and Zmea will neutralized the NATO counter-attack after which November will destroy the two M270 MLRS mobile artillery platform and extract via helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One'). Versus has just received a delivery of weapons and vehicles of US origin which will greatly facilitate the support. These include two HMMWVs - one of which armed - MMGs and also HK416 and HK417 weapon systems.

The third party commission for this operation is $200 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the mobile artillery units have just arrived to Chernarus and they have been temporarily positioned in an abandoned water purification facility with a small guard detail. This detail consists of approximately ten to twenty USMC troops with no armor support or heavy weapons. However, it is highly likely that the nearby BAF and USMC garrisons to the south will respond to the threat.

Corona has decided that it is up to November to decide how to support the ChDKZ assault on the depot. The ChDKZ troops will be attacking in first light without the cover of darkness, terrain or ever much foliage. November can join the assault with its vehicles, provide machine gun fire or flank and attack from another direction. Countering the response forces with Zmea should be done using the the depot as cover.

Mission

November will seize the depot, defeat the counter-attack and destroy the two mobile artillery platforms prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION ERGA OMNES

Situation

July 29th 1999: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has tasked private military company Versus to clear three sites of stray enemy forces. The ChDKZ plans to aggressively expand their area of operations now that the NATO mobile artillery has been neutralized in operation Fultus. The three sites in question have been a part of Versus operations in the past with or without the ChDKZ support. Intel indicates that the NATO and its allies on Chernarus have been unable to effectively respond to the asymmetric warfare and are currently having trouble in reinforcing and resupplying the occupying forces.

PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has been operating from the Versus FOB Nidus since January and has now established a new forward observation base (designation 'Praedium') in the remains of an old NAPA base approximately four kliks south of FOB Nidus. A team of five Versus operators (callsign 'November') will start the FOB Praedium and may use whatever services the base provides. FOB Praedium is guarded by another Versus team (callsign 'Tenebra').

First of the three sites November must clear is the town of Gvozdno which was assaulted in operation Merces Letifer last January and is currently occupied by a small force of CDF troops. The second site is the lumber mill which was originally planned as a Versus FOB but was attacked by the CDF in December 1998. The lumber mill is currently occupied by what appears to be a small unit of NAPA infantry. The last of the three sites is an abandoned factory from where November extracted a NATO helicopter in Versus operation Somni Aestatis last month. The factory seems to be serving as a maintenance point for USMC heavy artillery. After clearing these sites November will return to FOB Praedium. A MH-6J helicopter (designation 'Cinyphes') is at Novembers disposal for this mission.

The third party commission for this operation is $180 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates that all of the three sites are occupied by light infantry with no armor support. However, Corona advises November stay clear of other enemy areas marked on the map. The NATO AA will have no trouble neutralizing the lightly armored helicopter. It is also known that the southern parts of Chernarus are under surveillance of NATO air force. Use the bad weather conditions to your advantage and fly low. All November operators are trained pilots.

Unfortunately the new FOB cannot provide November with best available equipment due to the volatile nature of the base. Tenebra's operation to guard the base will take priority.

Mission

November will clear the town, the lumber mill and the factory of remaining enemy forces and return to FOB Praedium.

OPERATION FISTULAE PANOS

Situation

October 1st 1999: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has learned that the USMC has a plan to transport very valuable cargo to Chernarus by two freight ships. Colonel Smirnov has orchestrated three operations to take over the cargo and he wants private military company Versus to take part in two of these operations.

The first operation (Versus designation 'Fistulae Panos') is to acquire mobile artillery for the ChDKZ war effort. The ChDKZ has made a deal to purchase a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher vehicle from a Takistani militia group Al-Azif. Al-Azif combatants will enter Chernarus from the north-west and deliver the vehicle to a ChDKZ hideout in the woods. Colonel Smirnov wants PMC Versus to rendezvous with these combatants and escort them safely to the delivery point. The survival of the Grad vehicle is operation critical.

PMC Versus has assigned a five operator team (callsign 'November') to rendezvous with Al-Azif combatants and ensure that the BM-21 Grad reaches the delivery point since it is suspected that the BAF have dispatched search and destroy patrols in the area. The delivery team is to arrive to Chernarus at 0240 hours and November has been inserted near the meeting point.

The third party commission for this operation is $400 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has reason to believe that the BAF has teams patrolling the woods all over north-western Chernarus to hunt down both the ChDKZ and NAPA guerillas. The number and volume of these teams is unknown and Corona has deemed advantageous to make the delivery at night. Corona would like to remind November that the lumber mill south of the meeting point can provide support for vehicular repairs and refuel.

Versus has also acquired a thermal weapon sight for this mission due to solid cash flow from the past operations. Enjoy!

Mission

November will go to the meeting point, establish contact with the delivery team and escort the BM-21 Grad to the delivery point.

OPERATION LEVIATHAN SUBRIDET

Situation

November 21st 1999: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has learned that the USMC had a plan to transport very valuable cargo to Chernarus by two freight ships. Colonel Smirnov has orchestrated three operations to take over the cargo and he wants private military company Versus to take part in two of these operations.

The first of these operations (Versus designation 'Fistulae Panos') took place last month and involved the acquisition of a mobile artillery platform to the ChDKZ. The second operation was conducted by the ChDKZ approximately forty days ago. In that operation the ChDKZ artillery took out the two lighthouses on the south-eastern coast of Chernarus. This was meant to set the freight ships off course for the ChDKZ troops to ambush. Instead, the freight ships crashed on the rocks just off the coast and the cargo was believed to be lost until earlier today when the ChDKZ sea patrol salvaged a working TV set from the eastern shore.

Colonel Smirnov has decided that the two derelicts should at least be searched since the cargo - of undisclosed nature - is extremely valuable for the liberation of Chernarus. Private military company Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has inserted a five operator team (callsign 'November') near the first ship. Once the first cargo has been salvaged, a ChDKZ transport helicopter (callsign 'Mukha') will transport November near the second ship. After salvaging its cargo November will disappear in the woods behind friendly lines.

Third party commission for this operation is $150 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Since this is pretty much an ex tempore operation Versus has not been able to equip November with diving suits. Corona advices November to make use of the cover of darkness and thick fog since enemy patrols - both land and sea - have been reported in the vicinity of the first ship. Apparently an USMC helicopter has made a crash landing in the vicinity.

Skalisty island is under ChDKZ control and the transport helicopter will be leaving from the center of the island as soon as November has collected the first cargo. It is not known to even Versus high command what this cargo is but colonel Smirnov assures that the operators will be able to carry it without vehicular support. The operators should be extremely careful when approaching the derelict ships since it is not known what kind of dangers the rusted and damaged hulls can pose. The ChDKZ patrols have also submitted conflicting reports from the vicinity of the small peninsula near the second ship. The reports describe found miscellaneous military equipment, clothes and occasionally animal carcasses. November should approach the second ship with caution although colonel Smirnov believes that the area is free of what the ChDKZ considers hostile forces.

Mission

November will collect the cargo packages from the first and second shipwreck before disappearing in the woods in friendly territory.

OPERATION MERCES LETIFER

Situation

December 3rd 1999: happy new year PMC Versus. Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov, commander-in-chief of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) has tasked PMC Versus to assist in seizing the CDF main storage depot which is believed to contain several CDF armored vehicles kept as reserve. Acquisition of these vehicles would greatly help the war effort of the ChDKZ and some of these vehicles have been promised for Versus should they survive this assault. Versus operational command (callsign 'Corona') will act as a liaison between the ChDKZ attack force and Versus operators in the area.

The ChDKZ troops will attack the CDF depot from the west at 1000 hours. The ChDKZ forces consists of five units: the main assault force of light armor (callsign 'Begemot') will approach the depot from the north-west, heavy armor (callsign 'Nosorog') from the south-west and two infantry platoons (callsigns 'Gaduka' and 'Zmea') directly from the west. A two-man sniper team (callsign 'Kolibri') will support the attact from the treeline. It is expected that the CDF will request assistance from the USMC airfield in the east and ChDKZ scouts report that two Cobra attack helicopters are on standby at the airfield.

Five Versus operators (callsign 'November') have been inserted east of the depot. November's mission consists of two stages. First the operators must ambush and neutralize the helicopters scrambled by the USMC to respond to the threat. After the neutralization of these helicopters November is to move to the depot itself and clear it of CDF personnel. When the depot is under ChDKZ control Versus helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') will extract November and let the ChDKZ control to relocate the captured vehicles. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel. The comission for this operation is $140 000.

Enemy

It is crucial for Versus operators to identify targets before engaging them due to close resemblance of uniforms worn by the ChDKZ and CDF. The CDF storage depot is believed to reinforced by stationary D30 artillery which are being used for direct fire defence. Intel also indicates strong presence of foot mobiles at the depot and possible CDF reinforcements in the area which will surely respond to the ChDKZ threat.

It is imperative that November neutralizes the attack helicopters. Failing to do so will most likely render the ChDKZ assault ineffective and make the seizing of the depot difficult. November operators have been equipped with Russian 9K32 surface-to-air missile systems to neutralize the enemy helicopters and a Praga truck to quickly reach the depot after the destruction of the helicopters.

Mission

November will neutralize enemy helicopters responding to the ChDKZ threat and seize the CDF storage depot prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION LUCIFER

Situation

January 12th 2000: private military company Versus has been doing business with the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov on Chernarus for 18 months. Although some of the operations have been in so called gray area in what comes to moral, Versus high command has learned that colonel Smirnov is now planning something Versus high command simply cannot tolerate.

Last November Versus was tasked by Colonel Smirnov to salvage valuable cargo from two crashed freight ships (operation designation 'Leviathan Subridet'). The nature of the cargo was kept secret even from Versus operators even though some of it was only recreational items according to the team's report. However, a suitcase retrieved contained a plutonium core which has now been assembled to a small scale nuclear warhead by the ChDKZ.

November local high command has detached a small unit to destroy the Scud launcher which will deliver the missile at 1645 hours today. This unit has been split to two teams, the surveillance unit (callsign 'Numen') and the demolition team (callsign 'Caligo'). PMC Versus will not be using its veteran operators since the high command does not want this operation to affect the future business relations with the ChDKZ. After Caligo has destroyed the Scud launcher the team will leave Chernarus by a CRRC boat which is waiting on the coast.

Caligo will be disguised as NAPA fighters with matching equipment to avoid any implications of Versus involvement. There will be no third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

PMC Versus high command has received reliable intel that the missile launch will commence at 1645 hours. The local surveillance unit Numen has pinpointed the launch site at the old football field in Berezino which is now under ChDKZ control.

To effectively maintain cover, Caligo has been disguised as NAPA fighters and equipped by their standards. Caligo's rules of engagement dictate to avoid ChDKZ casualties for the exception of the Scud launcher. However, the ChDKZ will definitely engage Caligo operators on sight as will all forces on Chernarus regardless of their nationality.

Mission

Caligo will destroy the Scud launcher and leave Chernarus by boat.

OPERATION CAEDES ET INSTRUCTUS

Situation

January 14th 2000: after successfully neutralizing the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star's (ChDKZ) nuclear missile two days ago without compromising the business relations with the ChDKZ commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov, all private military company Versus personnel were granted two days of vacation. PMC Versus veteran team of operators (callsign 'November') decided to use these two days to go on a fishing trip on friendly ChDKZ waters. Great amounts of alcohol were consumed.

Upon returning to shore late at night November operators remembered strange activity they encountered last November when retrieving the lost cargo from two derelict ships. As they were armed, November decided to investigate these strange encounters they had and search the areas around lakes Black and Willow for unknown hostiles as they might pose a threat operating on what is now ChDKZ territory. After investigating they would travel inland and reach the ChDKZ occupied small airstrip.

Since this was a rogue operation on November's part, there would not be a third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

No accurate intel available this time. Last time November operated in these woods it encountered an armed paramilitary force. November has no night vision capability this time and the operators will have to make use of flashlights and flares. Should November find something, the Versus command will surely want to know.

Mission

November will investigate Willow Lake and Black Lake and return to ChDKZ territory.

OPERATION REGNUM AETERNUM

Situation

January 22nd 2000: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has noticed that the NAPA forces on Chernarus have been growing stronger in the past months first occupying a former private military company Versus base of operations in last July and then destroying ChDKZ's Scud launcher ten days ago. Colonel Smirnov's scouts have located a NAPA base in the ruins at Black Mountain which is now ChDKZ territory. The colonel wants PMC Versus to help the ChDKZ forces to clear the ruins.

The Versus Chernarus veterans (designation 'November') have been committed to a mental institution after a strange nocturnal encounter eight days ago. Colonel Smirnov believes that November operators ran into a sect only known as the Cult of Al-Ma'iza as-Sauda al-Ghatabia which has been infesting the north-eastern peninsula longer than anyone remembers. The Versus high command has declared the peninsula area restricted to Versus personnel and even the ever stronger ChDKZ forces are reluctant to approach the area. Due to November's condition PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has assigned a secondary team (callsign 'Tenebra') to help the ChDKZ with the ruins.

However, there is a more pressing situation in which Corona needs Tenebra's assistance. Versus scouts at the town of Gvozdno report a slowly moving CDF offensive which has penetrated the thin ChDKZ lines and is approaching the forward observation base Nidus from which Tenebra will begin this operation. FOB Nidus contains critical equipment and must be defended before moving on to the ruins. The operation will be supervised by the local ChDKZ high command (callsign 'Soroka'). Since Tenebra will be operating in friendly territory Corona has decided that no disguises are necessary. The third party commission for this operation is $220 000.

Enemy

Versus scouts at the town of Gvozdno have related information that the CDF offensive consists of infantry and lightly armored vehicles which are moving along the road to FOB Nidus. Tenebra should be aware that a minefield of AP mines has been set up just west of FOB Nidus to prevent enemy forces from flanking the base. According to the Versus scouts the main body of the offensive consists of about 20 foot mobiles supported by an APC. In addition to these ground forces Corona is detecting an aerial contact headed north from the Balota airfield.

It is not known what kind of equipment and in what volume the NAPA occupied ruins contain. The ChDKZ will be sending two infantry teams (callsigns 'Volk' and 'Lisica') to clear the ruins since the terrain makes it impossible for armored vehicles to approach. Tenebra is to help them in whatever way possible. Unlike defending FOB Nidus, Tenebra must identify targets before engaging when clearing the ruins since ChDKZ infantry is also assaulting the site from the east and south.

Mission

Tenebra will defend FOB Nidus from the attack prior to assisting in clearing the ruins of enemy combatants.

OPERATION EBULUS

Situation

February 12th 2000: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has launched a campaign in which the ultimate goal is to capture the Chernarussian northern airport currently held by NATO forces. Before assaulting the airport however, colonel Smirnov has decided to destroy all enemy forces in the close proximity. First of these enemy occupied zones is the small village of Petrovka north of the airport. Colonel Smirnov has his favourite surgical instrument, private military company Versus to facilitate the offensive on Petrovo. The operation will be supervised by the ChDKZ local command (callsign 'Soroka').

The PMC Versus local high command at FOB Praedium (callsign 'Corona') has inserted a five operator team (callsign 'November') which has just returned to active duty to flank and neutralize an enemy strongpoint before assisting the ChDKZ forces to seize the village. The ChDKZ has been closely working with the Takistani military group Al-Azif which is sending combatants to work directly under November on this mission. Al-Azif fighters will meet November at the insertion point. The strongpoint itself poses an immediate threat to the ChDKZ armor (callsign 'Nosorog') approaching the village from the south and must be neutralized before the actual attack can commence. When the strongpoint has been neutralized, Nosorog and November will move seize the village which will be attacked simultaneously by ChDKZ infantry (callsign 'Gaduka') After the village has been seized November will be extracted be Versus helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One').

The third party commission for this operation is $400 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the village and the strongpoint are heavily fortified by the USMC forces. November should be able to use the element of suprise when assaulting the strongpoint. The strongpoint's armaments are known to be directed towards south and south-east and November should be able to attack the position from the western flank. The ChDKZ high command has not been able to provide artillery support for this mission since the ChDKZ mobile artillery has no ordnance due to recent delivery difficulties.

Corona is expecting a platoon size force of mechanized infantry in Petrovka and it is imperative for the success of the assault that the ChDKZ armor can provide support. November has been equipped with the G36 weapon system which PMC Versus purchased last June and the Al-Azif fighters will most likely bring something from Takistan.

Mission

November will wait for reinforcements at the insertion point, neutralize the strongpoint and assist in seizing the village of Petrovka prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION ICONOCLASTAE

Situation

February 23rd 2000: after successfully seizing the village of Petrovka from the USMC eleven days ago, the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has decided that its time to eliminate the persistent garrison of CDF troops at the Devil's Castle. The main CDF forces have long withdrawn from the northern part of Chernarus, but a stubborn CDF officer is determined to keep the garrison at the castle. Colonel Smirnov wants the Belarussian private military company Versus to eliminate the commanding officer, major Guglava and his second-in-command, captain Prutko. The elimination of these high value targets will surely cause the remaining CDF troops to flee south and make way to the operation to capture the northern airfield.

The ChDKZ had an informant in the castle who provided them with useful information about the garrison strength and routines as well as the most likely location of the major (designated 'HVT primary') and the captain (designated 'HVT secondary'). The PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked the Chernarus veteran team (callsign 'November') to take out these HVTs, confirm the kills and return back to FOB Praedium.

The ChDKZ forces have two units operation in the area which are willing to assist November in their assignment. A mechanized infantry unit (callsign 'Krysa') is currently occupied in assaulting the town of Grishino and will be moving to the castle once the village is in ChDKZ control. The other unit (callsign 'Obezana') is waiting 600 meters north of the castle. Since all the ChDKZ AT teams are currently occupied, Obezana will move to the castle if all the three armored vehicles in the vicinity of the castle are neutralized. November will have to decide whether it will take the castle by force or perform a surgical strike to eliminate just the HVTs. To help with their task, the PMC Versus engineers have equipped the Versus Littlebird (designation 'Cinyphes') with direct attack guided rockets and a forward looking infrared camera. Please try to bring it back in one piece. Lastly, the Devil's Castle - although just a ruin - is an iconic piece of Chernarussian history and colonel Smirnov has strictly prohibited damaging it any further.

The third party commission for this operation is $500 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

The ChDKZ informant was able to deliver some information about the garrison's strength and routines before disappearing from the grid completely. Apparently the castle holds at least three armored vehicles and a ZU-23-2 AA gun along with approximately 30 enemy combatants. Some of these units seem to have moved south to defend the town of Grishino from the ChDZK offensive and the garrison's combat effectiveness should be lowered. However, the castle ruins still provide the garrison with extremely effective cover and concealment. November should know that the CDF forces have set up a minefield on the only road leading to the castle.

The garrison does not hold any significant AA capabilities but on the other hand just concentrated small arms fire is enough to take down the lightly armored AH-6J helicopter. The FLIR camera should make November's task easier to engage targets from a distance and November operators should also we aware that the NATO airfield to the north-west holds much more effective AA units.

Mission

November will eliminate the HVT primary and the HVT secondary, confirm the kills and return to FOB Praedium.

OPERATION DE IMMORTALIBUS

Situation

March 15th 2000: despite having reduced enemy forces in the proximity of north-western airport, the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has deemed it impossible for the ChDKZ forces to capture the airport in a direct assault. The ChDKZ territory has been expanding rapidly in the last 15 months now that the Belarussian private military company Versus has been working for them and the expansion has spread the ChDKZ forces thin. Colonel Smirnov has decided that the destruction of the NATO high-end fighter planes will make the NATO forces to abandon the airport and concentrate their forces in the south.

The ChDKZ scouts report that the airport's southern hangars hold three F35B fighter planes which colonel Smirnov wants PMC Versus to destroy. The NATO forces are most likely expecting an attack on the airport and colonel Smirnov is willing to make use of the ChDKZ forces to create a diversion to draw the NATO forces' attention to the northern end of the airstrip. The PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked a five operator team (callsign 'November') to destroy these three fighter planes during the ChDKZ assault which will begin at 2020 hours. After the planes have been destroyed November will be extracted by Versus transport helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One').

The third party commission for this operation is $450 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates that the NATO forces are expecting an attack and receded inside the walls of the airport area. Although the airport is surrounded by two walls which would normally make entering the area unnoticed difficult their maintenance have been neglected and they are in poor condition.

Corona emphasizes the execution of this operation which must be precisely on time. If November is noticed by the enemy before the diversion assault has begun the airport troops will most likely be guarding the hangars. On the other hand, if November is not in position when the assault commences the enemy forces will most likely use the fighter planes to counter the ChDKZ assault or relocate them altogether. Once the planes are airborne their destruction becomes extremely difficult. Corona has received intel that the fighter pilots' quarters is located west of the hangars.

Colonel Smirnov and his scouts report that the airport contains several armored vehicles as well as a company sized force of infantry and due to the sheer number of enemy forces November should keep low profile and concentrate on their task rather than trying to engage enemy fighters.

Mission

November will use the diversion to infiltrate the airport and destroy all fighter planes prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION TRIVIUM

Situation

April 4th 2000: after private military company Versus destroyed the fighter planes at the north-western airport roughly three weeks ago, the NATO forces responded exactly like the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov had predicted. The remaining troops fled the airport leaving only a small guard detail which was quickly neutralized by the ChDKZ. Ever since then the NATO forces have been moving their supplies away from the northern parts which are mostly considered ChDKZ territory now.

Yesterday at 1500 hours colonel Smirnov received accurate intel that an US Army ammunition convoy is moving from castle Rog to the factory in the east coast and the colonel wants the PMC Versus team deployed in the area (callsign 'November') to ambush and destroy these ammunition trucks. The convoy travels through the Three Valleys which offers three possible routes (designated 'Rhetorica', 'Grammatica' and 'Dialectica') for the convoy. Colonel Smirnov has sent scouts to confirm the route while November has been camping the night in the Valleys. At 1330 hours November was informed that the convoy has taken the route 'Grammatica' and will be at the ambush point in approximately 10 minutes.

After November has destroyed the trucks the operators must neutralize an access control point guarding the route 'Rhetorica' which may pose a threat to the UH-1 extraction helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One'). Normally the extraction would simply take place elsewhere but in this case the planned extraction point is the only place the helicopter can land due to the thick forest characteristic to the Three Valleys.

The third party commission for this operation is $200 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Colonel Smirnov's scouts report that the convoy consists of only soft targets: in addition to the two ammunition trucks there are two armed HMMWV's and a transport truck. The Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has provided November with newly acquired British assault rifles, a Land Rover Defender off-road utility vehicle and also a L111A1 high caliber machine gun. November operators are also equipped with explosives which are capable of disabling the convoy's movement.

The access control point oversees the traffic in route 'Rhetorica' and most likely contains weaponry which is capable of shooting down Terminus One. Corona believes it is imperative that November operators clear the ACP of enemy combatants before calling for extraction. Corona also reminds November that it is mission critical that the ammunition trucks do not leave the Three Valleys area.

Mission

November will ambush the convoy, destroy the ammunition trucks and clear the access control point prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION FRANGENTUR

Situation

April 9th 2000: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has again assigned a task to his favourite private military company to help with the liberation of Chernarus. PMC Versus is to attack an ongoing USMC unmanned aerial vehicle training exercise just west of the town of Pavlovo. Since the NATO forces and its allies on Chernarus lost the north-western airport to the ChDKZ forces last month, they have been busy training personnel to operate newly acquired MQ-9 Reaper UAVs.

Colonel Smirnov's scouts have pinpointed the training grounds and PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') has tasked the Chernarus veterans (callsign 'November') to destroy these Reapers. The scouts have also reported that an armed helicopter is patrolling the area and Corona wants November to neutralize it along with the UAVs since it might pose a threat to the Versus UH1-H transport helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') which is assigned to extract November.

Corona has not authorized November to use Versus MANPADS for this operation since AA supplies are currently running low. However, colonel Smirnov has informed PMC Versus that there lies an Ural truck with a ZU-23-2 AA gun (designation 'Messor') in an abandoned ChDKZ camp which might prove useful if the UAVs are currently airborne. The truck should still be operational even though the camp was abandoned last summer while the ChDKZ troops moved north. The destruction of the UAVs is critical to survival of the ChDKZ since the fast moving and relatively small aircrafts can recon ChDKZ positions as well as effectively engage armored targets.

The third party commission for this operation is $250 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Colonel Smirnov's scouts have reported at least three UAVs taking off from Balota airfield at 0610 hours this morning. The training grounds will most likely be guarded by infantry patrols but Corona believes that the enemy has not given effort to fortify their positions due to the remote and seemingly safe nature of the site. The enemy most likely believes that the heavy presence of NATO forces in Pavlovo and especially Zelenogorsk provide more than enough deterrence for the ChDKZ. They have not counted for PMC Versus presence.

Corona advises November that the destruction of the USMC helicopter is not mission critical and it is enough if November eliminates the pilots. The UAVs need a terminal to operate and it is believed that the trainers have set one up in the proximity of the training grounds. If November is able to complete this mission the ChDKZ are close to obtaining air superiority in Chernarus which would make a difference in balancing the scales.

Mission

November will destroy UAVs and neutralize the helicopter threat in the UAV training grounds prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION HIC SUNT DRACONES

Situation

May 27th 2000: the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov received accurate intel approximately 10 days ago that the CDF forces have started setting up coastal defences in the south coast of Chernarus. Rumor has it that the Russian federation has taken interest in Chernarus now that the NATO occupation has slowly started weakening thanks to the efforts of the ChDKZ and private military company Versus. These coastal defences have concentrated a lot of enemy activity at the south coast and colonel Smirnov deemed necessary to evacuate Skalisty island of ChDKZ troops.

Colonel Smirnov and the PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') have tasked a five operator Versus team (callsign 'November') to destroy these three coastal guns at skerry Drakon, islet Otmel and Krutoy Cap. November has been inserted near Drakon last night and will be using the cover of darkness and thick fog to navigate through enemy patrols and destroy these guns prior to being extracted by the Versus UH-1H transport helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One'). November will be extracted from Skalisty island which is believed to be clear of enemy forces due to the fact that the CDF still believe it to be under ChDKZ control.

The third party commission for this operation is $185 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

Intel indicates relatively low enemy activity in Zelenaya bay. Scouts have reported singular patrol boats and foot patrols in the area but the fog should make November's task easy. Skalisty island is believed to be free of enemy forces.

Mission

November will destroy coastal guns here, here and here prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION SINISTER ET DEXTER

Situation

June 17th 2000: after destroying the three coastal guns in operation 'Hic Sunt Dracones' approximately three weeks ago, private military company Versus high command has been unable to establish contact with the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ) commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov. PMC Versus has now been three weeks without assignments when the Versus Chernarus veteran team (callsign 'November') woke up at forward observation base Praedium to an enemy assault.

FOB Praedium contains extremely valuable equipment, inter alia approximately 80 kilograms of Composite-4 plastic explosive. Corona has informed FOB Praedium that an aerial contact is approaching the base from south-east and judging from its speed it's likely an attack helicopter. November must neutralize the helicopter and reduce the enemy offensive so that Corona can send air support to dismantle the FOB and extract November.

In addition to November, FOB Praedium is being guarded by another Versus team (callsign 'Tenebra'). Corona has also reached the ChDKZ captain Ivanov (callsign 'Neptunus') who is willing to help PMC Versus in this matter. The captain thinks he owes his life to the company due to the fact that November has rescued him twice (Versus operations 'Soter Avidus' and 'Neco Ergo Emereo') in the last two years. Neptunus has left the north-western airport with armored vehicles to help November defend the base. Once the base area is secure, Corona will send the Versus MH-6J helicopter (callsign 'Cinyphes') to extract November and the UH-1H helicopter (callsign 'Terminus One') with combat engineers to dismantle the base.

There is no third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

Tenebra reports enemy foot mobiles closing in from the east and west. Fortunately, Tenebra had set up tripwire flares around the base just hours ago and they should effectively reveal enemy positions. It is not known which faction is attacking the base. Tenebra speculates that colonel Smirnov has been captured by the NATO forces and has given the location of FOB Praedium to the USMC.

Corona reminds that the enemy attack helicopter closing in from south-east is a priority target since the thermal optics and automatic cannon can reduce the base to nothing in just a matter of seconds. This is why November should not be reading this right now.

Mission

November will destroy the enemy attack helicopter and defend FOB Praedium prior to extraction by helicopter.

OPERATION ERRATUM MILLESIMUM

Situation

June 19th 2000: after dismantling FOB Praedium two days ago the private military company Versus UH-1H and MH-6 helicopters (callsigns 'Terminus One' and 'Cinyphes') have been extracted from Chernarus due to lack of accurate intel about the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ). The ChDKZ has been the primary employer for PMC Versus on Chernarus for the last two years but the Versus high command has been unable to establish contact with commander-in-chief Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov (designation 'Iuppiter') for over three weeks. The ChDKZ second-in-command, major Abram Ivanov (callsign 'Neptunus') has taken command of the ChDKZ forces and has tasked PMC Versus to help him with locating Iuppiter.

Yesterday PMC Versus local high command (callsign 'Corona') tasked a five operator Versus team (callsign 'November') to assist Neptunus in the task. Neptunus wants November to search for Iuppiter in the village of Khelm. Neptunus has also located a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun on the hill Klen and November must eliminate this threat and report operation status to Neptunus and Corona. Once the AA threat has been neutralized, Neptunus and his team will be transported by ChDKZ transport helicopters to the north-eastern airport where Neptunus will continue the search for Iuppiter. After November has completed assigned tasks the team will disappear into the forest.

The third party commission for this operation is $250 000. To avoid enemy suspicion of a third party involment and possible political tensions Versus operators have disguised themselves as ChDKZ guerillas. This will also ensure that ChDKZ fighters will not engage Versus personnel.

Enemy

The ChDKZ forces under Neptunus' command have searched all of the ChDKZ territory for Iuppiter except for the village of Khelm and the north-eastern airport. Neptunus has not been able to contact the airport via radio for several days. The SPAAG on hill Klen is believed to be an USMC M163 which has somehow slipped through ChDKZ lines and set up to ambush any passing aircraft. Once this threat has been neutralized, two Mi-17 transport helicopters (callsigns 'Mukha One' and 'Mukha Two') will transport Neptunus and his team to the airport.

The ChDKZ scouts have reported NAPA guerillas in the village of Khelm and it is possible that they are responsible for Iuppiter's disappearance. All operation progress must be reported to Corona.

Mission

November will look for the missing person in Khelm, destroy the AA threat and disappear into the forest.

OPERATION SANABILIS

Situation

June 20th 2000: after witnessing the death of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star's (ChDKZ) second-in-command, major Abram Ivanov, the private military company Versus five Chernarus veterans (callsign 'November') received a radio transmission from the Versus high command. The high command informs that all other Versus personnel have been evacuated from Chernarus due to the Russian invasion. Versus combat engineer team (designation 'Glutinum') is KIA and the Versus local high command on Chernarus (designation 'Corona') is MIA. Also, a Russian news channel reports that colonel Dimitrios Olezka Smirnov has been captured and executed for war crimes by the Russian Federation.

The PMC Versus high command has pinpointed Corona's last GPS location near the Green Mountain and high command wants November to investigate the Russian forward observation post there. November's mission is to look for intel on Corona's location. Since November has not been able to resupply since yesterday's operation, the high command has managed to make contact with the scattered ChDKZ troops nearby. They have informed the Versus high command that there is an old ChDKZ weapon stash in the church of Pogorevka village. After November has searched the FOP for intel the team will disappear into nearby forest to avoid capture.

There is no third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

No intel on enemy activity this time. It is likely that the NATO forces and the Russian Federation are engaged in combat and November operators should use this to their advantage and try to remain unnoticed.

Mission

November will search the forward observation post for intel on Corona.

OPERATION CORONA MARTYRIS

Situation

June 21st 2000: after private military company Versus operators (callsign 'November') acquired intel on the missing PMC Versus commander (designation 'Corona') from the Russian forward observation post at Green Mountain they have been making their way south towards the small outpost where Corona is being held. In addition to Corona's location the intel included a request for a commissioned officer to come and determine the POW's fate. Since Corona was found armed in a paramilitary base it is most likely that he's executed on the spot just like colonel Smirnov, the late commander-in-chief of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ). The officer is traveling from the village of Kozlovka and is propably already on the way.

The PMC Versus high command wants November to prevent Corona's execution and extract him along themselves from Chernarus for good. The high command has acquired intel on the current situation on Chernarus and it seems that the forces of NATO and the Russian Federation are engaged in battle in the south coast. The high command believes that the fighting may cause enough turmoil for November and Corona to acquire a vehicle and flee since extraction by Versus helicopter or boat is not something the high command can risk. The high command has deemed that PMC Versus will no longer operate in the region now that there are two military superpowers engaged in all-out war.

Since this is November's third consecutive day fighting the team is exhausted mantally and physically not to mention the shortage of ammunition and medical supplies. The high command reminds November that this will be the team's final effort on Chernarus and a well-deserved vacation is just around the corner!

There is no third party commission for this operation.

Enemy

The Versus high command have received intel that there's a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun in the Balota airfield currently under NATO command. There's also a coastal gun on the south coast and the high command advices November to neutralize any of these targets which may pose a threat to the vehicle November can acquire.

High command has no accurate intel on the Russian Federation's movevents and it is believed that the NATO forces on Balota airfield will most likely be moving west to counter the Russian spearhead. This may provide November an opportunity to steal an aerial or naval vehicle and flee. Corona's survival is mission critical.

Mission

November will prevent Corona's execution, extract him and leave Chernarus once and for all.
